Metal factory, Kiev (UA)

In April 2004, just before the outbreak of the Orange revolution, Isabelle travelled to Kiev, Ukraine to document (work)life in a metal factory situated at the edge of town. 

Fascinated by the industrial workplace, still influenced by Soviet times, Isabelle created a portrait of a society on the brink of collapse, crossroads between Eastern and Western Europe.
